Have you ever just stopped to smell the roses, literally? Have you looked closely at a butterfly or dragonfly to see the detail of their wings and colors? Do you see rain as an inconvenience or as a natural resource? Like landscapes, nature is God’s artwork that provides us with so much beauty. There is a purpose for each living thing.
Since I have started with nature photography, I notice more than I ever have before. I will watch a bee fly around collecting pollen. I’ll sit in amazement while a butterfly gathers nectar. I have learned to appreciate the raindrops and dew as it brings life and hope to nature. The next time you are outside, take a moment to absorb all of the beauty that nature has to offer.
