Well, here it is. Mark Denton – Behind the camera. First, I want to say that I appreciate you taking a moment to stop by and checking out my gallery. This is my collection of photos that I have taken while out exploring. I started with photography back in May 2017 when I got my first DSLR camera (a Canon t2i), from a friend that upgraded their gear.
I started out with aviation photography, of which I still do as often as possible. Please check out my aviation page by clicking here. From there, you can also go directly to my aviation website (blog) for more content by clicking here.
Though aviation is a huge passion of mine, it is not always photography friendly. Outside of airshow season, the weather and aircraft traffic can definitely put a damper on aviation photography. Well, in April 2018, I began to venture out and take pictures of wildlife, nature, city and landscapes so that I could be shooting consistently. Needless to say, I absolutely fell in love with all of it. Since then, photography has grown into such a huge passion and continues to grow stronger each day. I find myself taking my camera with me (now a Canon 80D), while shooting almost daily. You just never know what you will come across.
Since late 2019, I’ve started moving into portrait, event, and wedding photography. I have really come to appreciate this style of photography. It definitely presents new challenges and a huge learning curve. I’m slowly but surely getting there, so please check back for more of my work coming up!
